Welcome to Avonside Bridge Club's eNoticeBoard. Avonside is located in the elegant Georgian city of Bath. We meet on Tuesday and Friday evenings for duplicate bridge in a friendly, but competitive atmosphere.
Our meeting room is at Green Park, which is a beautifully restored Victorian railway station 2 minutes walk from the centre of Bath. Free parking AFTER 6:50 PM. We regret no disabled facilities available.

RETURN TO BATH SOCIETY MEETING ROOM. We are returning to our usual room as from Tuesday 15th July as the electrical work has been completed.
EBU PROPOSALS. At the EGM on 4th June when County Representatives met with the EBU, voting on these proposals was 52 in favour, 31 against with 2 abstentions and 1 absentee. The Board of the EBU met on 11th June to activate its plans for implementing its proposals & for making more announcements about its plans for streamlining the workings of the Union.

***BRIDGE WEEKEND FRIDAY 17th - SUNDAY 19th OCTOBER 2008. Although we do not have quite as many tables as we would like, the Committee have decided that we have enough to make this an enjoyable weekend - SO WE ARE STILL GOING AHEAD and if there are any more members (OLD or NEW) who are considering joining us, we would be delighted to hear from you. Application forms are available at the Club - just ask a committee member.
