BRIDGE WEEKEND IN BOURNEMOUTH
Our Bridge and Social Weekend away this year will be held at the Marsham Court Hotel in Bournemouth fromFriday 17th to Sunday 19th October 2008. The hotel is conveniently situated for the town and the seafront. Their website has full details
We arrive on Friday afternoon, and meet for a drink in the bar at 5:45pm, followed by a 3 course waiter-served dinner at 6:15pm, before playing duplicate bridge for the rest of the evening.
On Saturday (after a full buffet style breakfast), there is optional bridge in the morning for anyone who is interested. Saturday lunch may be taken informally in the Bar (at an additional charge) and Saturday afternoon is free for you to explore the area or just enjoy the hotel. Saturday evening follows a similar format to Friday evening, with dinner and bridge.
After another full English Breakfast....we all play "Teams" bridge on Sunday morning. A 3 course buffet lunch has been booked for us all before departing for home on Sunday afternoon.
Prices for the weekend per person (including bed, board, prizes and tips) are as follows:-

Additional Sunday night half board bookings are available at £35 per person, irrespective of room type.
The booking form will be available from Tuesday 17th January.
The hotel is about 2 hours from Bath by car, and we are currently investigating the possibility of laying on a coach service.
